INNOVATION FRAMEWORK - 4i
Concept Review
The first stage of the 4i process is to review the concept with regard to a number of parameters including:
- R&D programme to date
- Time resource utilised
- Patent / IP position
- Market research completed
- Statement of competitive advantage
- Investment proposition
The review provides a summary of the assumptions made with regard to novelty, usefulness and competitiveness of a particular concept during ideation and development, together with expectations of commercialisation pathways.
